Small Business Incubators have proven to be an incredible resource for brick-and-mortar business start-ups. Many entrepreneurs have benefited from these amazing organizations which have provided training, mentoring and support that may well have been the difference between success and failure. For the online

Mentoring That Makes A Difference

business community (one of the fastest growing business sectors), however, the small business incubator system has not kept pace.

Small Business Incubators — Opportunities Scarce For Online Businesses

While incubators do exist for online entrepreneurs they are few and far between and not readily accessible to the masses of new businesses that start online each day. The failure rate for these, without the professional support they need, exceeds 93%.

A failure rate of this magnitude is alarming, but not surprising. Most successful business owners will readily attribute much of their progress and accomplishment to a meaningful support and mentoring system. Lacking this, new business owners are left to fend for themselves. The failure rate proves that going it on one’s own is a very risky proposition.

Small Group Training Leads The Way At Small Biz Incubator

Small Biz Incubator was formed because its founders were unable to find the training, support and mentoring they needed to grow their personal online businesses. Even with years of conventional business experience they found conducting business online to have unique and challenging requirements. So they set out to develop a training and mentoring program that would be beneficial and affordable for anyone seriously committed to building an online business presence. What resulted was a world-class learning program, designed around live webinars and small support groups that virtually assure success. Now anyone, no matter what  level of experience they possess, can find the training and mentoring they need in a self-paced and supportive environment.

What really makes the program a standout is the way it’s been organized with Affinity Groups at its core. These small, closely knit groups work together in a way that makes learning sometimes difficult concepts both fun and simple! For those actively participating in these groups, success is no longer “just out of reach”. In an Affinity Group learners are never alone. There is always a real, caring human being ready to lend a helping hand.

Affinity Groups Foster Understanding

Small Biz Affinity Groups are truly the core of the training program. These small groups tend to become very close and attached  as they work through the sometimes challenging materials. Most amazing, perhaps, is the high level of respect and accountability that develops! Every Group Leader and member is committed to mutual success. Their motto is “no entrepreneur left behind”.

It is the job of the Affinity Group Leaders (AGLs) to provide follow-up assistance within the business development modules. Training begins with live webinars, video and/or written training, providing in-depth coverage for every essential concept. Then the training is reviewed in live weekly Affinity Group meetings, held online, which include Q & A sessions.  Members confirm that the Affinity Groups have provided the key support necessary to keep them in the game.

There isn’t much about the Internet that is static. As with most technologies, new innovation arrives about every six months. Staying current with the latest “best practices” is more than a full time job. This is a huge advantage of belonging to a membership forum such as Small Biz Incubator. Its leaders are constantly scouring the technical forums, and reviewing programs to keep training current. Courses are updated regularly, and new developments are introduced in live training webinars as soon as they have been validated. This constant “eye on change” is not easily duplicated by traditional Small Business Incubators.

ZingBizPRO Review – The Power of More Than One

History gives us many fine examples of what individuals can accomplish. Determination counts for so much, and a popular cause clinches the deal. Where online marketing is concerned, going solo is a tough proposition. For that reason, Small Biz Incubator has initiated a team-oriented approach. We are currently testing this strategy by jointly promoting a fine new company, ZingBizPRO, through our jointly managed blog ZingBizPRO Review.

To date, since the beginning of November 2011, we have generated more than 5,000 unique hits to our blog site, and attained high rankings on the first page of Google for all of our primary keywords.  We have accomplished this through a lot of hard work including content generation, on and offsite SEO, bookmarking and use of Web2.0 properties like Facebook, LinkedIn and Posterous.

Small Biz Incubator has been teaching these strategies to be used in individual business building for a long time. Our small groups, called Affinity Groups, have been primarily used for mutual support and encouragement, and to reinforce the training given through our live webinars. This is the first time we have employed all of our teachings in a group scenario, and are very impressed with the results! The level of participation has never been higher, nor the commitment to each other greater. Speaking of commitment, this seems to be one of the biggest factors that is driving participation! As people commit to one another, their level of participation and performance increases.

Doing business online has always been a challenge, particularly for individuals without a tremendous knowledge of the more technical aspects. By working in small teams (affinity groups), many technical weaknesses can be overcome. We find people are more able to learn from their group leaders and fellow members better, sometimes, than from the principal instructors! We love this, and know this is perfectly normal! Finding someone you can easily relate to is so critical to success in any endeavor. Most successful people attribute much of their accomplishment to their mentors.

One of the most difficult things about starting something is to have the courage and resolve to actually see something through to completion. For a lot of people (about 95% according to the statistics) this is almost impossible to do. Having a mentor, or mentors, is almost a necessity for most people. We are very social, after-all, and having someone you know to encourage you when the going gets tough is the thing many of us can point to as the primary reason we actually stuck our project out to completion.

Small Biz Incubator was founded with this in mind. After many years of struggling on our own, we discovered the Power of More Than One! This is particularly important in today’s online business environment that finds large groups of business owners jointly promoting each others’ endeavors. This creates a business environment that is difficult to penetrate. These groups of knowledgeable entrepreneurs have banned together to dominate the Google rankings, and attract most of the “buyer” traffic to themselves.

Small Biz Incubator Unleashes the Power of More Than One!

Small Biz Incubator is determined to make this same advantage available to the “small” business owner through mutual promotion and mutual assistance.
Our ZingBizPRO Review project is our first attempt at jointly promoting a major project. If our progress is any indication it will not be our last.

To find out how you can become part of a supportive team of entrepreneurs, click on the button to your left and accept our invitation to a 30 day trial. Find out if working with a group of like-minded and determined entrepreneurs might just be the thing that makes the difference for YOUR business! We’d love to meet you.
